When does Project Emberforge launch?
There is no launch date yet; the realm is still in development. Launch news, testing and announcements go to our Discord first.
Is Project Emberforge free?
Yes. The game, the launcher and every piece of content are free. Titanspark is optional and only buys services, convenience items and cosmetics.
What does "classless" mean?
There are no classes to choose. Every character starts as a Hero. From level 1 to 8 you slot any 4 abilities you like and can swap them freely. After level 8 they are locked, and every new level is a random draw: a talent on odd levels, a skill card on even levels. See how Wildcard works.
Can I change a locked or random ability?
Yes, with an Eye of Unlearning. It rerolls any ability or talent, including your locked starter picks.
Which version of WoW is this?
Wrath of the Lich King, patch 3.3.5a (build 12340), rebuilt as a classless realm with custom content and quality-of-life additions.
Do I need to own World of Warcraft?
No. The launcher downloads everything you need. If you already have a 3.3.5a client, see manual setup.
The launcher says "Realm unreachable".
Check that you are online and that your firewall allows the launcher. If the realm is down for maintenance, we post it on Discord.
I am stuck in the world. What can I do?
Sign in to your account and press Unstuck next to the character. It teleports them to their hearthstone location.
Is Titanspark shared between the website and the launcher?
Yes. One balance, one catalog, one purchase history, wherever you shop.
Can I get a refund on Titanspark?
Titanspark you have not spent can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Spent Titanspark and delivered items cannot be refunded. The full refund policy will be published before donations open.
